"How can I explain when there are few words I can choose" --Erasure

Well, it is November 30th. The end of NaBloPoMo. And we've been through 30 posts in 30 days together. Freaky.

I pondered how to end this. What would continue the thrust of this month? How could I nail the right sentiment on such an auspicious occasion? I searched long and hard for the right tone. Something that expressed the right depth and feeling.

Here's what I found:

Hope I'm not over-intellectualizing.

P.S. Want more? Try "unfortunate place names".

P.P.S. h/t to Tewkesbury for her recent related post.

P.P.P.S. Thanks for your encouragement along the NaBloPoMo way. I'm totally naming my first born after you. Or eating a Hershey's Kiss (with Almond!) in your honor. One or the other. Definitely.

I look forward to either meeting little Alberto or you enjoying a delicious Almond-embedded Kiss.

I hope you go for the Kiss in my honor!

Congrats on completing your mission!

Congratulations! I would have made it, too, had I not missed the family reunion weekend days. Drat! I shall just have to live vicariously through your success. Gilahi and I will raise a glass to you when we meet later this afternoon to solve the world's problems.

Mmm - hershey's kiss with almond (drool)...

It's been a lot of fun! Don't stop now! Well, you can take a day or two off every now & then...

Yaay, you did it! We've all enjoyed your challenge of the past 30 days very much.

Woo congrats! Wetwang must get a lot of visitors! ;)

I just set off fireworks in your honor!

Which means the fact that I'm reading blogs at work is made irrelevant by the fact that I set off pyrotechnics in the office.

Did anyone mention NaBloPoYr starts Jan 1?

Congrats on NaBloPoMo!

The Wetwang sign reminds me of a good friend - really! The old Wang Laboratories had their headquarters just off the highway in Lowell, Massachusetts. There were three connected buildings that people referred to as the Wang towers, and at the top of each tower was a big sign that said "WANG." Without fail during our high school and college years, every time we drove by those towers, my friend would say, "now there's a couple of big wangs!" It was so corny and stupid, but I still can't drive by those buildings without thinking about him and laughing to myself.

Congrats on making it all the way through! I just hope that you don't decide to take the month of December off from blogging.

Wahoo you did it! *cheering and stomping of feet* Congrats on all your posts, it was super fun as a spectator but i don't know how you did it!

OMG. That is priceless!

The next time I drive to Basel, I'm stopping at Wankdorf and snapping a picture. I wonder if Wetwang is the sister city of Wankdorf? Hm....

P.S. Word ver: prigolo! What are the chances?!?! Hahahahaha!!! Oh.

I'm gonna pass on Wetwang, but I'll be back to visit you in any case. Congrats on making it all the way. My closing ceremonies won't be until later after I knock out my kids.

Congrats! Maybe you should go for another month since this one worked out so well. I really enjoyed coming here knowing there would be something new to read every day.

Wetwang...that's awesome. Thanks for the chuckle.

Congrats on completing a month of NaBloPoMo. Looks like you did MUCH better than myself. Keep up the stellar blogging.

This could be funnier, although less sexual, if the town were called "Wetwillie". I wonder what the folks who named Wetwang, like the town fathers of French Lick, Ind., had any second thoughts?

OMG! Dec 1 comments on a Nov 30 post! WAIT! You must be resting up for NaBloPoYr.

12minds: Little Alberto would be *so* cute. (And the kiss was delicious!)

Maya: I totally went for the kiss in your honor. And it was fantastic!

kys: Thanks! It was an interesting month/challenge to be sure.

Bilbo: From what I hear, you raised more than one glass. Please deliver all the resolutions to the world's problems toot suite.

Kate: Thanks! You know, I could picture you as a Daisy, although I really, REALLY like the name Kate. Reminds me of Taming of the Shrew and how strong-willed Kate was. :)

The Bug: Thanks. I'm thinking I'll do just that.

Cyndy: Aren't you sweet! It was a pleasure spending the month with you!

Hannah: Thanks. I'd go there, wouldn't you?

brad: WOOT! Thanks for the fireworks. I love sparkly stuff! (Hope you didn't get fired.) Also, I like the new picture.

Mike: In the words of Shaft, shut your mouth.

Bowie Mike: "now there's a couple of big wangs!" *snort!* And, thank you, Bowie Mike, for commenting every freakin' day! You rock! You really do.

Sean: It's tempting. (And thanks. I'm a little amazed myself.)

lustyreader: Thank you! I'm not sure how I did it, either. *sheepish grin*

J. M. Tewkesbury: They have to be sister cities. No, maybe brother cities!

Mac and Cheese: Thanks for stopping by and congrats on your own NaBloPoMo success! You rock!

alexa - Cleveland's a plum: I was hoping I wasn't too subtle there.

Tina: Aren't you a sweetheart! It was lovely spending the month with you!

Barbara: Thanks. I don't honestly think I have another month in me.

onthecurb: Thanks! I enjoyed your blog, too. :)

FoggyDew: I'd like to believe it means something else in a different language. But, I'd like to believe in leprechauns, too.

Mike: I'm resting up all right.

Little Ms Blogger: Thanks! I have new respect for other people that do this because it sure wasn't easy.

Reya Mellicker: Thanks for your kind words. We went to my cousin's funeral today. *hug*

Alice: "nanowriplobamo"--isn't that a type of salsa? (Thanks!)
