TMI/"And sleep, just sleep" --My Chemical Romance

In honor of TMI Thursday, I'll share a recent conversation.

Hubby: Were you all right last night?

Me: What do you mean?

Hubby: I woke up and you were sleeping half-way down the bed.

Me: I was?

Hubby: Yes. You even pulled a pillow down with you.

Me: Huh. ...I remember waking up at one point and I was all sweaty and drooly so I went in search of a dry spot. Maybe that was it.

Hubby:

Me: What? Too sexy?

Which brings us to the question of the day: Does sexy reside in your mind or your body?

  1. LOL. Definitely too sexy. And I think its a little bit of both, but more the mind. (At least that is what I am telling myself as certain things start to go, um. South).

  2. Mind. It doesn't matter what you're wearing if you're not feeling it, you'll never make sexy work.

  3. I sleep down at the bottom of the bed. I like my feet to hang off the edge, and I like to scrunch up a bit, AND I'm short so all of those thing combined equals me on the lower half of the bed. I used to date a guy who slept all scrunched up at the top of the bed. After a couple nights of waking up with my face right in his ass we had to break up. It just wasn't to be.

    Also sexy? State of mind.

  4. HAHAHA If sweaty and drooling is considered sexy then i'm sexy all night long.

  5. The Friday night it started snowing, we fell asleep on his couch by the fire. Romantic, right?

The next morning, when we woke up, there were 5 distinct white spots on his shirt.

    "I drooled all over you."
"It's OK. You warned me about it."

    Drooling? So sexy.

  6. Body doesn't hurt, but sexy's definitely in your mind.

At least, god, I hope so.

  7. Totes the mind.

Except for Narm... he's right. It's his beard.

  8. I think it's all in the mind... If ya feel it, then you are it.

  9. Mostly mind. It helps to have a good body, but really you can have a good body and not be sexy. And you can be damn sexy in any body!

  10. I would say a little bit of both!

  13. Well I KNOW it's not my body...

  14. I'm not sure sexy resides anywhere on my person...all I know is this had me snorting out loud and damn I needed that.

  15. I'd say definitely mind.... but then, I start imagining some "sexy-wanna-be's" that are definitely not visually sexy and make me eeeeck, and then I am not sure

  16. I say take it wherever you can get it.

  17. I don't think Sexy is even anywhere in my zip code at the moment but if I think waaaaay back to when it was - I'd have to go with mind.

  18. Oh, I'm so unsexy right now. I'm nasal-y and snotty and snoring and living in sweats. I'll get the sexy back someday, but it's so cold and frankly, my green sweats make me happy.

  19. I think it lives in your hypothalamus.

  20. Sometimes I wake up and I'm completely upside down in my bed. Maybe I sleep dance?

  21. TMI Thursday? That's funny.

Sexy is mind and body - and spirit - if you ask me.

  22. haha, classic!

Hmm, I think it can live in either place, ideally both....

  23. Mind...mind...mind! Definitely. The body just does what it's told.

  24. LoL, that is too funny! There have been times where I've supposedly had loud conversations to myself while asleep.

The mind! A brain is the sexiest organ you can find on a person!:)

  25. both! definitely in both. but mostly in mind.

  26. It's def a combination of the two, but with a heavy emphasis on the mind.

Speaking of sexy, I sometimes wake up no longer wearing pants. It's confusing and disconcerting to me, especially when sleeping alone.

  28. I think a huge part of "Sexy" has to start in the mind, "I think therefore I am"... right?

Once our minds are set right the physical will follow.

Unfortunately, I have thought terribly of myself in the last few years and it shows. :-\
