"Hangin' on to the good times" -- Little Feat


You know how in high school, you threw a party and suddenly all the coolest kids from your class were showing up at your house and you couldn't believe your good fortune because it turned into the best party ever? Yeah, me, neither.

Well, yesterday, I threw a little happy hour and the coolest kids in the blogosphere actually did show up! And I am still amazed.

    Lemmonex: Like I said, I can handle spilled wine. Hurling, now that's a different story entirely. Launch your cookies all over me (or down the front of yourself) and that's pretty much a deal breaker for me. But spilled wine, meh. No harm, no foul! I still think you're classy.

    (Besides, your little bit of wine was nothing compared to the pint of beer I was almost baptized in by some inattentive idiot who knocked the entire thing off the bar and on to me. Fortunately, I am attentive! And, I still have reflexes. Disaster averted!)
